Configure email notifications
Create or edit an alert policy, choose Email, enter the approved recipients, select the issue or anomaly source and threshold, then enable and save the policy. Trigger a controlled qualifying event where practical and confirm the SiteWall log and recipient mailbox.
Procedure
- 1.
Open the correct project and page
Use the project selector to choose the website you intend to review, then open Integrations in the left navigation. Confirm the organization, project, and monitored domain before interpreting a record or changing a control.
- 2.
Record the current delivery configuration
Note the enabled policy, finding type, count threshold, destination, destination owner, and latest delivery outcome. Protect recipient addresses, webhook values, and credentials in accordance with your secret-handling process.
- 3.
Recipients
Confirm the enabled policy, finding type, count threshold, evaluation window, destination configuration, and destination owner. Verify policy evaluation, SiteWall delivery status, destination receipt, and human acknowledgment as separate events.
- 4.
Test evaluation and delivery
Generate a controlled qualifying issue or anomaly condition. Confirm the policy evaluation and SiteWall delivery outcome, then verify receipt and link access in the destination independently.
- 5.
Document destination ownership
Record the policy condition, approved destination, owner, test event, SiteWall delivery status, destination receipt, and credential-rotation or removal process.
Configure Slack notifications
Create an approved Slack incoming webhook for the destination channel, store the URL according to your secret-handling process, and enter it in the SiteWall Slack configuration. Save an enabled threshold policy, test delivery, and confirm the message links back to the correct project context.
Configure Microsoft Teams notifications
Use an approved Microsoft Teams-compatible webhook endpoint for the destination team or channel, add it to the SiteWall alert configuration, and save an enabled threshold policy. Verify both the SiteWall delivery log and the resulting Teams message before relying on the route.
Configure Discord notifications
Create an approved Discord webhook for the destination channel, add the endpoint to the SiteWall alert policy, and select the source, threshold, and enabled state. Test the route and confirm the message and link context in Discord.
