GDPR overview
The GDPR view organizes SiteWall’s browser-side observations as support evidence for privacy work. It connects data-access and destination signals, providers and resources, authorization and justification, privacy-by-default controls, findings, actions, evidence freshness, and report generation to the active project.
What to review
Use the following table to understand how each area supports the task.
| Area | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Browser-side processing visibility | Compare observed browser access with the resource’s documented business purpose and the journeys that depend on it. Observed use can inform a least-privilege baseline, but unobserved use may still occur in untested states. |
| Evidence scope | Keep the selected project, monitored pages, traffic paths, and observation period attached to the result. |
GDPR evidence by requirement
Review GDPR support evidence requirement by requirement. Separate technical observations about resource behavior and destinations from the privacy owner’s conclusions about purpose, legal basis, processor terms, minimization, international transfers, risk, and required follow-up.
What to review
Use the following table to understand how each area supports the task.
| Area | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Data minimization | Follow the indicator to its source records and preserve the project, monitored pages, observation period, generation time, reviewer, and known gaps. Keep SiteWall’s browser-side evidence separate from organizational evidence and the reviewer’s compliance conclusion. |
| Third parties | Follow the indicator to its source records and preserve the project, monitored pages, observation period, generation time, reviewer, and known gaps. Keep SiteWall’s browser-side evidence separate from organizational evidence and the reviewer’s compliance conclusion. |
| Privacy-by-default | Read the configured value at Global, Provider, and Resource layers and identify the resolved effective state. Apply the narrowest approved change, validate critical journeys, and retain the previous state for recovery. |
| Records | Follow the indicator to its source records and preserve the project, monitored pages, observation period, generation time, reviewer, and known gaps. Keep SiteWall’s browser-side evidence separate from organizational evidence and the reviewer’s compliance conclusion. |
