Global Privacy Control is always enabled in CookieWall. When the browser exposes an active GPC signal, CookieWall records a GPC opt-out and forces Marketing to false.
Effects of an active GPC signal
Strictly Necessary remains enabled.
Marketing is disabled even when an earlier stored preference enabled it.
Existing Analytics and Functional choices are preserved; on a first visit they begin disabled.
Accept All does not re-enable Marketing while GPC remains active.
The banner displays a GPC status notice and disables the Marketing control.
The Privacy Dashboard includes GPC prevalence and GPC opt-out decisions.
