Guide

Use the Privacy Dashboard

Read the project’s inventory, consent, GPC, ownership, lifespan, category, and vendor summaries.

Last reviewed September 12, 2026

The Privacy Dashboard is an operational summary of inventory coverage, consent decisions, Global Privacy Control, identifier ownership, lifespan, categories, and providers. Start with coverage and drift, then use the detailed inventory, resource, provider, and session records to explain any change.

Dashboard measures

  • Total identifiers, identified coverage, active providers, and the Strictly Necessary ratio.

  • Inventory growth and drift over time.

  • First-party versus third-party ownership.

  • Session versus persistent lifespan.

  • Consent adoption and decision distribution over the last 30 days.

  • GPC enabled versus disabled observations over the last 30 days.

  • Identifiers by compliance category and the leading provider footprint.

Review in order

  1. 1.

    Start with coverage

A high decision count does not compensate for unclassified identifiers. Review total items and coverage first.

  2. 2.

    Look for drift

Investigate new identifiers and sudden changes in provider or category distribution.

  3. 3.

    Compare consent outcomes

Use acceptance, customized, declined, and GPC opt-out trends to spot implementation changes or audience shifts.

  4. 4.

    Return to evidence

Use the Privacy Inventory, Providers, Resources, and Sessions pages to explain a dashboard signal.
