Configure Google Consent Mode v2
Map CookieWall categories to Google storage and advertising consent fields and verify default-before-update ordering.
Last reviewed September 12, 2026
CookieWall can translate its consent categories into the native consent states expected by supported advertising platforms. Configure only the platforms present on the website, verify their URL patterns and signal mappings, and test the platform-specific state before and after each visitor choice.
CookieWall-to-Google mapping
Use the following table to understand how each area supports the task.
| CookieWall category | Google fields |
|---|---|
| Analytics | `analytics_storage` |
| Marketing | `ad_storage`, `ad_user_data`, `ad_personalization` |
| Functional | `functionality_storage`, `personalization_storage` |
| Strictly Necessary | `security_storage` remains granted |
