Enable CookieWall, compare active and passive behavior, and validate the selected state before rollout.

Last reviewed September 12, 2026

The Configuration page controls whether the consent interface is active and labels the enforcement posture as Active (Strict Blocking) or Passive (Notice Only).

Roll out the configuration

  1. 1.

    Review inventory coverage

Resolve unknown high-impact identifiers and verify the sources for Analytics, Marketing, and Functional activity.

  2. 2.

    Start with representative testing

Test first visits and returning visits across key pages before enabling the banner for production traffic.

  3. 3.

    Select the intended mode

Use Passive while validating the notice experience and telemetry. Use Active only after checking the published category-to-script map and recovery path.

  4. 4.

    Enable the banner and save

Save the configuration, then confirm its publication time and the actual behavior on the website.
