Troubleshooting
Inventory or configuration appears stale
Resolve missing discoveries, outdated banner descriptions, and delayed category or integration changes.
Last reviewed September 12, 2026
A stale inventory or banner usually means the relevant journey was not observed recently, automatic publishing is off, the mapping key does not match, or the browser still has an older CDN configuration. Compare observation, edit, audit, and publication times to locate the broken link.
Refresh the evidence chain
- 1.
Check observation coverage
Exercise the page, journey, region, and user state that should create the identifier.
- 2.
Check the inventory window
The published visitor-facing inventory is built from identifiers seen during the recent 30-day window.
- 3.
Review automatic publishing
If automatic publishing is disabled, a completed discovery does not automatically refresh the CDN configuration.
- 4.
Confirm the mapping key
For prefix-style identifiers, confirm the saved identifier type and base name match the detected record.
- 5.
Check publication and cache
Compare the last published time with the edit or audit time, then retest after the CDN cache refreshes.
