Overview
Publish configuration and inventory updates
Understand automatic publishing, CDN state, mapping changes, and the delay between discovery and visitor-facing configuration.
Last reviewed September 12, 2026
The published configuration merges banner settings, activation and enforcement state, consent-signal targets, the current 30-day privacy inventory, manual category mappings, user-facing descriptions, and the resource-to-category script map.
What can change published state
Use the following table to understand how each area supports the task.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Save configuration | Synchronizes the project consent configuration for downstream publication. |
| Save or reset an identifier mapping | Synchronizes category, provider, and description overrides. |
| Complete a non-public discovery audit | Refreshes the CDN inventory when automatic publishing is enabled. |
| Disable automatic publishing | Future discovery-driven CDN refreshes are skipped until an explicit publication path is used. |
